Serfs don't need to be able to read or write--just do what they're told.  Besides, once people learn to read, what do they do? Buy a copy of The Fountainhead and spout off about what they've read.  Or worse, post about it on the internet.  We need to get back to the basics--polio, smallpox, and dead by the ripe old age of 25. And clay tablets.  By the way, can someone send me a deep-fried turkey leg dipped in chocolate? Make that two.
