Comic and actress Amy Schumer has found a new calling: Standing up for the equality of women of power, wealth, success, and privilege. Stated Ms. Schumer in a news conference:

"Yes, there are homeless women. Yes, there are women living in the subways of New York City. Yes, there are women who are beaten everyday because they're afraid to be murdered by an abusive companion if they do. Yes, there are women who are not even women because they cannot afford the surgery. But I could not think of a way to talk about any of those problems that would seem funny or draw attention to my show Inside Amy Schumer or my upcoming staring role in that Judd Apatow movie this summer and I can assure you it will be a motherfucking masterpiece."
